Maui, Kauai & Hawaii Wedding Website

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007 by admin

It is quite easy to plan a destination wedding to Maui, Kauai or the Big Island. A good wedding planner will have everything you need for your wedding day all set up. You’ll simply need to show up. The more difficult planning issue is when you are having a larger affair with 20 or more guests attending.

That is where a individual wedding website comes in handy. Maui’d Forever will create, at no charge, a wedding website dedicated to YOUR wedding. On your site we will have a picture of the couple and a short story or biography. We will also list all the important events date, time and place. so if there are activities, rehearsals, receptions and the like they can all be listed.

Another aspect of a larger wedding is getting everybody to the Islands and in the same general locale. That is where having your wedding planner also being the groups travel agent is a benefit. Our client web page has travel information, a travel booking engine and personal support to let your guests get to your wedding with ease. See more Hawaii wedding information. Or you can call 1-800-871-2758 for your Free client website. See a sample of the client website.

Summer Weddings

Friday, June 15th, 2007 by admin

It’s mid-June here on Maui. Our wedding calendar is getting into sunset weddings starting at 6pm for a sunset after 7pm. South and West facing shores are getting spectacular sunsets. Be prepared for warm weather. Day time temps are getting into the low 90’s and boy does the sand get hot! Those desiring a luau for after the wedding need to consider a grassy park area overlooking the ocean. We have several that also have trees for shade! The sand, unless you are standing in the surf, is just too hot. In any case dress for the occasion. Full heavy wedding dresses and tuxedo wear can add stress (and a little sweat) to your wedding day. Consider lighter wear, go for the “Island” look.

April 7, 2007 Sunset Wedding At Kapalua Bay

Monday, April 9th, 2007 by admin

Melissa called me from Muncie Indiana, less than a month ago, inquiring about our Basic Maui Beach Wedding Package, and asked if we had an opening on 4/7/07, at sunset. She said she and her fiance Shaun were staying at the Hyatt Regancy in Kaanapali and wondered if there was a location we could recommend close to their accommodations. I sent her photos of Kapalua Bay, and the rest is history. Last Saturday evening at approximately 6:30 pm Hawaiian Minister Cleighton Eaton, pronounced Melissa and Shaun Smith, husband and wife, as one of our talented photographers, Alex Ignath captured the moment. Melissa’s Bouquet, consisted of Dark and Light Purple Flowers, accented with Dark Blues. Shaun wore a Ti Leaf Lei, and Melissa a Soft white Tuberose Lei. Rev Eaton began the ceremony, with the sounding of the Conch Shell, followed by the Ole’ Aloha Chant. It was the perfect evening, everything a Bride and Groom could have imagined and more. The out stretched arms of Kapalua Bay, are waiting and hoping for another perfect evening, for another loving couple to look into each others eyes and say, I do. We would love to help you plan your special day, so aloha and mahalo, Melissa and Shaun from your friends at Maui’d Forever.

Agnes & Peter’s Maui Morning Wedding 3/31/07

Sunday, April 1st, 2007 by admin

Ask most any Maui Wedding professional what their favorite ceremony time is and the answer will be morning. Agnes & Peter became husband and wife at approximately 9:20 am Saturday morning March 31, 2007. Agnes had arranged through us to have her Hair & Make Up done in her room earlier that morning, and looked breathtaking beautiful as she stepped from the car, driven by her fiance Peter. The wind was calm, the colors of the water and sky were incredible, and the crashing waves of a south swell added dramatically to both video and photos. Although I’ve witnessed hundreds on hundreds of wedding, I never take for granted where we live, what we do, and how lucky we are to be involved in such a wonderful business, which brings so much joy and happiness to so many of our Maui’d Forever couples. By the way,if your asking, my favorite ceremony time, it’s morning, you’ll love it.

Stacy & Dave Maui Memories 3/30/07

Saturday, March 31st, 2007 by admin

Well, it was finally here, and what a perfect day it was. Another Maui’d Forever wedding was about to begin. Dave, along with 12 of his and Stacy’s closest friends and family members, made their way down the beautifully landscaped walkway of Makena Surf. Hawaiian Minister Kimo Kirkman holding Conch Shell in hand, sounded the Brides arrival. Popular Maui photographer Alejandro Koziolas moved in and out of the group capturing every moment at every possible angle.
The Sky was blue, the water looked warm and inviting, and the day proved all that Dave and Stacy had hoped for and more. Pastor Kimo, commented how lucky we all are to be in such a perfect place at such a perfect time. The look in Dave and Stacy’s eyes, could do nothing, but agree.
We at Maui’d Forever, wish them health and happiness, and as always, hope they stay,
Maui’d Forever.
