The park has clearly marked signs from
both directions on the main highway
To Lydgate Beach
From the north or east of Kauai: Drive south of Kapaa and turn at your first left just after the Wailua bridge (under major construction). Follow this side road back up towards the direction you came from (north) until you get the to main Lydgate Park
Entrance (that should be your second right).
From the south: Drive towards Kapaa/Wailua. Before you get to the Wailua Bridge or Kapaa turn right following the signs to Lydgate beach. Follow the road to your second right.
Then Turn right at the second little street. There is a small sign saying “Lydgate Beach Park”.
Turn right IMMEDITALY where a sign says "South Comfort Station additional Parking" and you'll see a parking area. Drive to the end of the parking area.
Walk down to the beach. Walk to your right over the point where there are lava rocks and some trees. There is a long stretch of beach there and this is where we usually do our Lydgate weddings.
